Terms and Conditions
- These terms and conditions apply to the use of the ‘Christmas Conga Challenge’ game operated by Chadwick Lawrence LLP (OC314811) whose registered office is 8-16 Dock Street, Leeds, England, LS10 1LX (“Chadwick Lawrence”).
- By entering into this free prize draw, all participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these terms and conditions. All entry instructions form part of these terms and conditions.
- This prize draw is open to all UK residents, except for employees of Chadwick Lawrence, their families, agencies or any other company directly connected with the administration of this promotion.
- There will be 5 free prize draws which will start and finish as follows:
- The first prize draw for the first ‘Weekly Prize’ will start at 00:00 (UK) on 25 November 2019 and will run until 23:59 (UK) on 01 December 2019;
- The second prize draw for the second ‘Weekly Prize’ will start at 00:00 (UK) on 02 December 2019 and will run until 23:59 (UK) on 08 December 2019;
- The third prize draw for the third ‘Weekly Prize’ will start at 00:00 (UK) on 09 December 2019 and will run until 23:59 (UK) on 15 December 2019;
- The fourth prize draw for the fourth ‘Weekly Prize’ will start at 00:00 (UK) on 16 December 2019 and will run until 23:59 (UK) on 22 December 2019; and
- The fifth prize draw for the ‘Main Prize’ will start at 00:00 (UK) on 25 November 2019 and will run until 23:59 (UK) on 22 December 2019.
- All entries must be received within the times stated above to be eligible for this free prize draw. Any entries that are incomplete, illegible or do not arrive within the specified time frame will be invalid.
- Participants may attempt the game as many times as they wish.
- There are two types of prizes to be won: the Weekly Prizes and the Main Prize.
- Participants must have collected 12 colleagues or more in a round of the game to enter the prize draw for the Weekly Prizes. The winner of each Weekly Prize will be drawn randomly from a list of all qualifying participants who have submitted their scores in the relevant week (as detailed in 3 above).
- Participants must finish within the top 10% of the leader board when the competition ends at 23:59 (UK) on 22 December 2019 to be entered into the prize draw for the Main Prize. This will be based on the number of qualifying participants’ scores on the leader board. The winner of the Main Prize will be selected at random from this list of the top 10% of scoring participants after the competition closes.
- Prizes are not transferable and no cash alternative will be offered. No other costs will be covered. Usual Chadwick Lawrence terms & conditions and competition terms apply.
- The prize draw will take place within 7 days of each closing date and the winners will be notified by email within 7 days of the draw. Should there be no response to this email within 7 days or should the email be returned as undeliverable for any reason, including but not limited to an invalid email address, Chadwick Lawrence reserves the right to disqualify that entry and select an alternative winner.
- Chadwick Lawrence reserves the right to disqualify any entries that we have reason to believe are third-party, bulk entry or are in any way fraudulent.
- Chadwick Lawrence accepts no liability for any loss of entries caused by technical faults.
- By entering this promotion you give permission for Chadwick Lawrence to post your first name, surname initial and home town on our website and social media outlets should you win a prize in the any prize draw.
- Prize draw winners will be sent their prize within 28 days of confirmation of their win. Whilst Chadwick Lawrence will take every care to ensure that the prizes are delivered in time and intact, we will not accept responsibility for prizes that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any postal failure.
- Entrants must be over the age of 18 at the time of participation to enter the free prize draw promotions.
- The decision of Chadwick Lawrence is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- The free prize draw promotion is governed by English law. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
- Any personal data relating to the free prize draw entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the individual’s prior consent. The terms of our Privacy Policy also apply.
- Chadwick Lawrence reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time.
