What’s Happening – Video/Multimedia
Following the recent Employment Appeal Tribunal case of Allay (UK) Ltd v Gehlen we discuss in this week’s video the potential consequences for Employers that fail to take reasonable steps to prevent acts of discrimination by their employees in the workplace, which can include vicarious liability for the actions of their employees. We also discuss the possible reasonable steps which can be taken by Employers to satisfy the established defence to this liability, including substantial Equality and Diversity training. – here
If you require any advice or assistance with rolling out Equality and Diversity training, do not hesitate to contact me to discuss both outsourced assistance or the provision of bespoke training materials.
