Where can I get support from when living with or caring for someone with dementia?
The journey that dementia takes you on can be a difficult path to navigate, but there are people you can turn to for support in person, by telephone or online. Below is a key list of contacts who offer a range of support for those living with dementia as well as the loved ones and carers of them. It is important to ensure you have the right channels available to reach out to should you require support.
A point of contact that offers a range of support and services is the Alzheimer’s Society, they can be contacted on 0333 150 3456 or through their website. The services include information, details of in-person support in your area and Companion Calls amongst many other services.
