Preferences
When an individual or a company does something or suffers something to be done which puts a creditor or guarantor in a better position than it would otherwise have been in if they entered into formal insolvency it grants a preference and if that is the case then (subject to certain criteria) insolvency practitioner who has been appointed to administer the insolvent estate can seek to overturn the same.
If you have been accused of entering into or benefiting from a preference please contact one of our experts to discuss how they could help you.
