ASMA IQBAL INVITED TO SPEAK AT THE DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION FESTIVAL OF SPEAKERS

We are proud to announce that our partner and lawyer, Asma Iqbal, has been invited to speak at the Diversity and Inclusion Festival of Speakers for the NHS on Wednesday 30^th November 2022.

The Diversity and Inclusion Festival of Speakers, held by the Health Education England Midlands team, is an event that provides us with the opportunity to listen to speakers who come from a range of different backgrounds and professions. More specifically, to share stories about their previous careers, discuss challenges they have faced in the past and teach life skills to audiences to take on board in their own life.

Asma has previously represented famous Yorkshire cricketer, Azeem Rafiq, in his claim of institutional racism against Yorkshire County Cricket Club and successfully secured a settlement in his employment tribunal. She was also shortlisted for two awards earlier this year – winning ‘Outstanding Business Leader’ at the Yorkshire hero awards. Asma is on a mission to tackle racism and promote diversity and equality in the workplace.
