Chadwick Lawrence has just drafted the contract for Leeds Rhinos ‘biggest commercial deal in the club’s history’
Leeds Rhinos have recently announced their partnership continuation with AMT Auto, marking it as ‘the biggest commercial deal in the club’s history’. This historic collaboration has led to the renaming of Headingley Rugby Stadium to AMT Headingley Rugby Stadium, effective from the 1st December 2023. This significant decision, allowing naming rights for only the fourth time in the stadium’s 133-year history, underscores the importance and scale of this partnership.
AMT Auto is a family-owned business, established by Neil McGawley. Offering a rent-lease-buy-sell-insure model for all types of vehicles and customers, they are one of the fastest growing businesses in Yorkshire.
Behind this momentous partnership stands the expertise of Leanne Franks, a vital member of our Corporate and Contracts (COCO) team at Chadwick Lawrence. Leanne played a pivotal role in drafting the contract that solidified this historic agreement. Her dedication, legal acumen, and attention to detail were instrumental in shaping the terms of this landmark deal. Leanne’s expertise not only reflects her professional capabilities but also emphasises Chadwick Lawrence’s commitment to delivering exceptional legal services to our clients.
When reflecting on this, Leanne comments: It has been an honour to be part of this partnership between Leeds Rhinos and AMT Auto. Collaborating with both parties to draft a comprehensive contract that aligns with their visions was a challenging yet immensely rewarding experience. I am proud to have contributed to this significant milestone in the club’s history and look forward to witnessing the positive impact of this partnership on the local community and beyond”
