Kevin Sinfield makes cinema debut in ‘Ul7ra – the inside story.’

The Chadwick Lawrence team are extremely proud to have supported long-standing friend of the firm and ex rugby league player Kevin Sinfield as he participated in the Ultra 7 in 7 challenge in November. Now his journey has been documented as a 90-minute film by Leeds-based film production company RAM films. They followed Kevin and his fundraising team, capturing exclusive interviews, audio recordings and never seen before footage.

Following his amazing charity marathons which took place in 2020 and 2021, raising over £5 million, Kevin accepted his next challenge to take part in the Ultra 7 in 7 to raise money for charities including: The MND Association, Leeds Hospitals Charity, My Name’s Doddie Foundation, MND Scotland and The Darby Rimmer MND Foundation, which support people affected by Motor Neurone Disease. These charities are all extremely close to Kevin’s heart, due to his friend and former teammate Rob Burrow being diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease in December 2019.

This challenge involved Kevin taking part in a 60km+ run per day for seven consecutive days taking him from Edinburgh to Manchester. Despite his initial goal to raise £777,777, the current total stands at over £2,300,000, and is increasing every day. If you wish to contribute to the donations, you can do so here.

The VIP premiere of ‘Ul7ra – the inside story’ is being hosted at the Everyman cinema in Trinity Leeds on Thursday 19 January at 7pm. Due to high demand this event has sold out.
