What’s Happening

We have received a number of request recently to prepare a video on right to work checks and we were more than happy to oblige.

Relaxed rules for undertaking right to work checks remotely will end soon (please note that, since the video was recorded, the Government has confirmed this date is 20th June and not 16th May as stated in the video).

This video examines how checks can be conducted at a distance moving forwards, in line with the Government’s published guidance here.

If you have any queries about the matters discussed in this video, please email employmenthub@chadlaw.co.uk for help and advice.

Whilst conflicts have been suppressed due to the pandemic, the report indicated that conflicts are due to resurface when employees return to the workplace.
